A monthly highlight on our calendar is VanOost Sundays: a late lunch where great food, good company, and the art of doing nothing come together, exactly as a Sunday should be. Each edition tells a new story, with changing collaborations and special guests. What remains is all the time to enjoy.

    Foodfestival Bite of Amsterdam returns to the beautiful Amstelpark. Three days where flavour, craftsmanship and creativity take centre stage.

    Chef Floris van Straalen will be cooking at Bite of Amsterdam, bringing the signature flavours of VanOost to the park. Expect refined dishes, seasonal ingredients and the layered, elegant style that defines his kitchen, translated into a vibrant open-air setting.

    During this edition, Champagne takes centre stage. Carefully selected champagnes accompany the menu by chef Floris van Straalen.

    At the table, there is time to taste and learn more about each champagne, while a DJ sets the tone for a relaxed Sunday afternoon.

    Each whisky is presented and explained at the table, allowing the flavours of the dishes and the character of the whisky to complement one another naturally.
